New Age Glass Limited recently completed a substantial glass block walling supply and installation project for Atlantic Contracts, delivering an impressive architectural feature that combines natural light, privacy and contemporary design.

The project involved the supply and installation of almost 7,000 SEVES Clear Wave Half Glass Blocks, measuring 90 × 190 × 80mm. As shown in the project gallery, the finished installation features extensive full-height glass block walls spanning multiple levels, complemented by warm timber-effect panelling and carefully detailed curved corners.

Off-Site Prefabrication & Installation

To ensure consistency, quality and efficiency across this large-scale project, New Age Glass Limited prefabricated the glass blocks into individual sections at our factory under controlled conditions. Once completed, each section was carefully palletised and transported to site using a dedicated delivery vehicle. Our installation team then installed each prefabricated section on-site, ensuring the finished glass block walls aligned with the surrounding architectural features and interior finishes. By completing the preparation off-site, we were able to streamline the installation process and maintain a consistent finish across the extensive areas of glass block walling.

A Striking Architectural Glass Block Feature

The completed installation demonstrates the versatility of glass block walling in modern commercial interiors. The distinctive wave pattern of the SEVES Clear Wave blocks diffuses light from behind while providing visual privacy, helping create bright, welcoming spaces.

The photographs showcase the scale and detail of the finished work, from the impressive triple-height elevations, continuous glass block sections to the curved corners and integration with the timber-effect surrounds. The result is a visually striking feature that combines the practical benefits of glass blocks with a strong architectural presence.
