New Age Glass Ltd were thrilled to be awarded the supply and install contract of the glass block walling element within Björn Frantzén’s first UK restaurant at Harrods. The restaurant, rooftop terrace and bar spread across the fifth and sixth floor boasts a Scandinavian X Asian fit-out, including an internal wrap around of glass block walling. 

1300+ Pegasus Neutro R09 Metallised Glass Blocks were installed in a vertical orientation, with a mere 2mm grout joint, to the 6th floor. Divided into three sections; a full height secondary glazing elevation, half height balustrade – reinforced with steel uprights hidden within the system – and full height walkway elevation including a window opening to allow passers-by to overlook the seating below.

550+ Pegasus Siena Neutro R09 Glass blocks were integrated within a steel support framework to the bar area on the fifth floor, central to the main entrance to the restaurant. This back lit, bronze colouring really works with the surrounding furnishings.
