New Age Glass Limited were again the preferred contractor awarded this Lovely project in the rear Garden of this privately owned home.

New Age Glass Limited  were given the task of removing an old fire escape hatch, reinforced concrete and glass pavement light and York stone capping slabs situated within one opening above the client’s basement. In order to make the opening size larger so as to accept our 900 x 900 Fire Escape Hatch we removed several non-structural RSJ beams, our operatives cast 2no reinforced concrete support beams for the purpose of supporting the new 900mm x 900mm Fire Escape Hatch and pavement light section.

Cast in one piece, New Age Glass Limited cast-Insitu our NAG-B117-120 Pavement light incorporating our 900mm x 900mm Fire Escape Hatch. Perimeter edges of the new works were made watertight using hot poured bitumen covered with Tarmac protection. New Age Glass Limited are to supply and fix Fire Escape Hatch Ladder with handrails once the client has completed rendering works to the basement walls.
